The architecture during Greek time was considering many factor, but every factor were link to one thing, which is to raise the spirit of Greek people since they believe in god and spirit. One good example building is the Temple of Pathenon where the podium were craved the picture of man, women and there’s a statue of Athena the god of the spirit. Everything was mainly to gain people’s belief, however comparing to the building in the modern day the purpose are different. Such as “Grand Lisbao” hotel in Macau, China, which was built the shaped of the building to make it look like a lotus so that people will recognize the symbol of the hotel when they arriving at the airport. The building contains casino, restaurant and hotel which draw many tourists to stop by and spend some cash to have their entertainment in the Grand Lisbao. This proves that the building in the modern day concern about economic only. This is because during Greek time there are wars among the belief, the purposed is to make everybody believe in their culture and that is surviving on that time. However, in the modern day people completing with each other in economic, there are division between rich and poor, who’s ever got the money is surviving. In conclusion, even though the purpose of the building between Greek time and modern time, still the main purpose of the building is to get people to surviving.
